On Saturday, 9 September 2023, in the evening at 18:48, in Klaipėda, on Vingio street near No. 35, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane and a Toyota Corolla. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. She was drunk (3.34‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
