On Wednesday, 13 September 2023, in the afternoon at 12:40, in Marijampolės municipality, on V. Kudirkos street near No. 6, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 82-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of a vehicle, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
