On Wednesday, 13 September 2023, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Salako street, at the junction with Nuokalnės street, a hitting a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 407 and a e-scooter. One person was injured — the 60-year-old driver of a e-scooter (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Peugeot (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
