On Tuesday, 19 September 2023, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Klaipėda, on Debreceno street, at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Auris and a bicycle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Toyota (10 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
