On Sunday, 8 October 2023, in the afternoon at 11:28, in Alytus, on Likiškėlių street near No. 19, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Jetta registered in Belgium and a Seat Ibiza. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (27 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He refused a sobriety test and fled the scene.
