Bus hits a pedestrian at a crossing on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai road
On Monday, 9 October 2023, in the afternoon at 11:10, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 56.29), a bus hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 88-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of a bus (14 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
