On Monday, 9 October 2023, in the afternoon at 16:40, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street, at the junction with Šauklių street, a Ford EBL (TOURNEO) hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 60-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 69-year-old driver of the Ford (30 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
