On Thursday, 12 October 2023, in the morning at 6:10, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 139.85), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Nissan (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
