On Friday, 13 October 2023, in the evening at 18:30, in Klaipėda, on Tiltų street near No. 1, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Multivan and a Renault. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
