On Thursday, 19 October 2023, in the afternoon at 14:50, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 406A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a KIA Motors RIO and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the KIA Motors, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
