On Thursday, 26 October 2023, at night at around 23:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, Užunevėžių village, on Sodų street, a Mitsubishi Eclipse ran off the road. Two people were injured — a 18-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient) and a 18-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient). One of the injured was a child. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
