On Saturday, 11 November 2023, in the afternoon at 11:53, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 136.01), an Audi A4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Audi (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
