On Saturday, 9 December 2023, in the evening at around 22:00, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr. near No. 103, a collision with one vehicle turning left and the other right occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat registered in Poland and a Toyota RAV4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (13 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (1.58‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
