On Tuesday, 19 December 2023, in the evening at 19:45, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Pramonės pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a car and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of a car (5 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
