On Thursday, 21 December 2023, in the morning at 8:57, in Alytaus district municipality, Alytaus village, on Takniškių street, a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI rolled over. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
