On Thursday, 21 December 2023, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Vilnius, on Gariūnų street near No. 66, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF, a Volkswagen Passat and a Schmitz Cargobull. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the DAF (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
