On Sunday, 24 December 2023, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Kėdainiai–Šėta–Ukmergė national road, a BMW 525 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
