On Monday, 25 December 2023, at night at 23:28, in Vilnius, on Nemenčinės pl. near No. 90, an Opel Insignia Sports Tourer SW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
