On Sunday, 14 January 2024, in the evening at 21:51, in Panevėžys, on Kniaudiškių street near No. 27, a Citroen registered in Finland hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
