On Saturday, 20 January 2024, in the afternoon at 11:40, in Jurbarko district municipality, Vencloviškių village, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) national road (kilometre 67.90), a head-on collision occurred. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volvo (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
