On Thursday, 1 February 2024, in the afternoon at 12:50, in Kauno district municipality, Jadagonių village, on Kriūkų pl. near No. 67, a Volvo rolled over. One person was injured — a 40-year-old passenger of the Volvo (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.84‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
