On Friday, 2 February 2024, at night at around 1:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Šlepštikų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 267), an Audi A4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi (2 years of driving experience), who fell asleep at the wheel. The driver was sober.
