On Friday, 2 February 2024, in the evening at around 18:00, in Vilnius, on Geležinkelio street, at the junction with Stoties street, a Toyota hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 7-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Toyota (31 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
