On Monday, 12 February 2024, in the evening at 18:55, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Kėdainiai–Lipliūnai–Krakės regional road (kilometre 11.50), a car rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of a car, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.29‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 37-year-old passenger of a car was drunk. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
