On Sunday, 4 February 2024, in the evening at around 22:00, in Šiauliai, on Joniškėlio street near No. 11, a BMW 5ER Reihe hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
