On Saturday, 2 March 2024, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Telšių district municipality, on Sinagogos street near No. 3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C4 Picasso and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Citroen (28 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
