On Sunday, 3 March 2024, in the evening at 17:40, in Kaunas, on Taurupio street near No. 10, at the junction with Agronomijos street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who violated overtaking rules. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
