On Monday, 18 March 2024, in the morning at 7:46, in Klaipėda, on Perkėlos street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter registered in Ukraine, a HFR - and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
