On Tuesday, 19 March 2024, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Žeimenos street near No. 70, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved an Opel Signum and a Seat Leon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Seat (19 years of driving experience). She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
