On Saturday, 13 April 2024, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Budrikų village, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Skoda. Two people were injured — the 62-year-old driver of the Skoda (treated as an outpatient) and a 52-year-old passenger of the Skoda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
