On Sunday, 14 April 2024, in the evening at 21:15, in Trakų district municipality, on Aukštadvario street near No. 26, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 CDI and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
