Drunk, unlicensed motorcyclist in crash with car in Plokščių village
On Tuesday, 16 April 2024, at night at 23:29, in Šakių district municipality, Plokščių village, on Nemuno street near No. 2A, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Yamaha ,YAMAHA EW 50 and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Yamaha, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.03‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
