On Friday, 26 April 2024, in the afternoon at 16:12, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with Klaipėdos street, a Scania R420 registered in Latvia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the Scania (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
