On Wednesday, 8 May 2024, in the evening at around 17:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Viduklės town, on Sporto street, at the junction with Ataugos street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved an Audi A2 and a Kymco. One person was injured — the 15-year-old driver of the Kymco (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Audi (33 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
