On Wednesday, 15 May 2024, in the evening at 17:50, in Kauno district municipality, Domeikavos village, on Bažnyčios street, at the junction with Vandžiogalos pl., a collision with one vehicle turning left and the other right occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
