On Monday, 20 May 2024, in the afternoon at 16:25, in Kupiškio district municipality, on Biržų street near No. 61, a Ford Ranger hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 46-year-old pedestrian, who was walking on the carriageway where prohibited. He was drunk (2.64‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober.
