Drunk Opel Antara driver hits a parked BMW and flees on J.Gruodžio g., Zarasai
On Sunday, 26 May 2024, at night at around 0:00, in Zarasų district municipality, on J.Gruodžio street, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Antara registered in Latvia and a BMW X1 Xdrive 20D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Opel (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.41‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
