On Sunday, 28 April 2024, in the morning at 10:20, in Prienų district municipality, on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus national road (kilometre 30.25), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Peugeot (18 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.20‰ blood alcohol).
