On Wednesday, 29 May 2024, in the evening at 19:06, in Tauragės district municipality, on Jūros street near No. 16, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
