On Wednesday, 29 May 2024, at night at around 23:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Skaistgiriai–Pušalotas regional road (kilometre 7), an Opel Vivaro registered in Germany ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
