On Friday, 31 May 2024, in the evening at around 20:00, in Vilnius, on Laisvės pr., at the junction with Buivydiškių street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved an Opel Insignia Sports Tourer SW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Opel (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.99‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
