On Friday, 31 May 2024, in the evening at 22:35, in Prienų district municipality, Čiudiškių village, on Mato Šalčiaus street, at the junction with Senojo Malūno street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz and a Honda CR-V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
