On Sunday, 2 June 2024, in the afternoon at 13:29, in Utenos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 146.15), a Mitsubishi Colt rolled over. One person was injured — a 66-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
