On Tuesday, 4 June 2024, in the evening at 21:10, in Panevėžys, on Klaipėdos street, at the junction with Nepriklausomybės a., a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
