On Tuesday, 4 June 2024, in the evening at 18:26, in Marijampolės municipality, Puskelnių village, on Ramunės street near No. 66, a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.75‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
