On Saturday, 29 June 2024, at night at around 23:00, in Druskininkų municipality, on Druskininkų street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Volvo XC60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.19‰ blood alcohol).
