On Wednesday, 17 July 2024, at night at around 23:00, in Vilnius, on Gelvonų street near No. 60, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Volvo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
