On Sunday, 7 July 2024, in the evening at 18:15, in Vilnius, on Žirmūnų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo XC60 and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Volvo (43 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
