On Saturday, 27 July 2024, in the evening at 20:50, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 63.40), a Mazda 6 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Mazda (26 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs. He was drunk (2.82‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
