On Tuesday, 30 July 2024, in the evening at around 19:00, in Šiaulių district municipality, Žeimių village, a BMW 525 D registered in Ukraine hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
